The local picture
What homes here need
Dallas–Fort Worth is where Aegis Homes is based, and it is the market our crews know best. The Metroplex is really a patchwork of very different housing stock: post-war brick homes on shifting clay in Dallas and Richardson, 1990s and 2000s tract construction across Plano, Frisco, McKinney and Allen, and newer custom builds in Southlake and Keller. Each of those eras was built to a different energy code and a different standard of attic ventilation, so the same problem — high summer bills, uneven rooms, a roof that keeps needing patches — usually has a different root cause depending on which decade the house went up in.
North Texas also sits in one of the most active hail corridors in the country, and spring storm season can put roofing, gutters, siding and rooftop HVAC equipment in the same conversation on the same afternoon. Because we handle roofing, HVAC, water filtration and general contracting under one contract, we can look at the whole envelope in a single visit rather than sending you to four companies. Hard municipal water is common across the Metroplex too, which is why filtration and softening come up on so many DFW walkthroughs.

Questions
Dallas–Fort Worth FAQs
- What does a consultation in Dallas–Fort Worth involve?
- We walk the home with you, look at the systems in question, and follow up with a written scope and price. You decide from there.
- How soon can someone come out?
- DFW is our home market, so scheduling here is typically the quickest. After a widespread hail event demand rises across the Metroplex and it can take longer — we will tell you honestly where you sit in the schedule.
- Can you handle roofing and HVAC on the same project?
- Yes, and it is often the better sequence. If a roof is being replaced and the system is near the end of its life, doing both under one scope avoids paying twice for access and coordination.
- Do you work in the suburbs as well as inside Dallas?
- Yes. We work across Dallas, Tarrant, Collin and Denton counties, including Plano, Frisco, McKinney, Allen, Arlington, Irving, Southlake and Keller.
