What we do

Insulation & Home Efficiency

In a Texas summer, your attic can hit 140 degrees — and an under-insulated one pushes that heat straight into your living space while your AC fights a losing battle. Proper insulation is the highest-leverage efficiency upgrade most homes can make.

We install spray foam and blown-in insulation, seal air leaks, and address the attic as a complete system, so your home holds its temperature and your equipment works less.

Questions

Insulation & Home Efficiency FAQs

What happens during a consultation?
We walk the home with you, look at the systems involved, ask how you actually use the space, and answer questions. Afterward you receive a written scope and price to review on your own time.
How do I know if my attic needs more insulation?
Rooms that never keep up in summer, an attic that feels like an oven, and homes built before modern energy codes are all common signs. We inspect the attic and tell you what we find.
Spray foam or blown-in — which is right for my home?
It depends on the attic assembly, ventilation and what you are trying to solve. Both work well in the right application, and we will explain why we are recommending one over the other.
How long does an insulation job take?
Many attic projects are completed in a day. Varies by home, and we give you a schedule with the written proposal.
Should I do insulation before replacing my HVAC system?
Often it makes sense to look at both together. Reducing the load on the system first can sometimes allow for a smaller system.
How is scope and pricing presented?
As a written proposal listing what is included and what it costs, delivered before any work begins. Nothing starts until you have approved it, and changes are documented in writing rather than handled verbally.
What areas do you serve?
Dallas–Fort Worth, Houston, West Texas, Tyler and East Texas, Wichita Falls, Oklahoma City, and Tulsa. We come to you; consultations happen at your home.
